Abound adds value through a “triple bottom line” approach supported by a clear, compelling purpose and rock solid principles. Our goal is to help our members do the same.

Here’s how it works:
Each Individual Member of Abound must be a leader in an organization with a recognized commitment to creating a more sustainable world through measurable impact on people and place, as well as profitability.

Members will generally fall into one of the three following categories:
Presidents: Presidents, CEO’s and Executive Directors of large organizations.
Change Agents: C-level leaders, divisional leaders, Sustainability/CSR Directors and other mid- to upper-level organizational leaders with significant responsibility concerning sustainability.
Enterprise leaders: Founders, co-founders, CEO’s, and Executive Directors of medium and smaller entrepreneurial businesses.

Abound is a peer organization of shared values around sustainable business, social and economic development.

The core of the Abound experience is the Leadership Circle. A Leadership Circle is an intense 6-12 member, peer-to-peer learning group that meets monthly for a half day to share experiences and help each member grow as a leader, and to work on organizational or individual challenges.

Each Abound Chapter is composed of multiple Leadership Circles. Each month the chapter will provide learning events about immediate and relevant practices to improve sustainability.

All chapters are part of the global Abound organization headquartered in Portland. They are fully supported with conferences, development workshops and a wide and deep reserve of expertise from all over the world. We will also hold a Global University that meets once a year in Portland, Oregon.
